This is an interesting project using hand painted papers, antique buttons for closures, and wonderful little embellishments to decorate our one of a kind, handmade book. This will be an enjoyable project that you can use for drawings, calligraphy, and photographs. It will also make wonderful gifts for people for birthdays, anniversaries, and graduations. Come and join us for a day of creative fun at my studio in Clawson, Michigan on Saturday, July 20, 2013. If you would like to register or if you have questions please contact Gail at 248-288-2188 or through her website at http://www.gailslighthousecards.com
I do fine art drawings in colored pencils and pastels. I specialize in lighthouse drawings and Biblical Scripture drawings with calligraphy. My drawings are reproduced on note cards and are shown across the country in gallery, gift, and museum shops. I have been in business for over 30 years and also teach art classes at my studio. You can see more of my work at my website at http://www.gailslighthousecards.com

Hollander's School of Book & Paper Arts 1993 - 2013
It was an honor for me to be included in Hollander's School of Book & Paper Arts final graduation ceremony. I have been taking bookbinding classes at Hollander's for the past 4 years and I loved every minute of it. Not only did I really enjoy the classes there, I really learned a lot about book making. They are closing their Book Arts School but we will still be able to purchase supplies and the beautiful papers they carry. They are located in Kerrytown in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I will really miss their classes.
