Bass Harbor Lighthouse Drawing Accepted into CPSA International Exhibit

 
My colored pencil drawing of the Bass Harbor Lighthouse was accepted into The Colored Pencil Society of America's 2014 International Exhibit. The exhibit will be held from June 13, 2014 to August 25, 2014 at The Ormond Memorial Art Museum & Gardens in Ormond Beach Florida. Award at the Michigan Colored Pencil 2013 Exhibit


I received the 3rd place prize for my colored pencil drawing "Bass Harbor Light" at Michigan Colored Pencil 2013 Exhibit. The exhibit is being held at The Alfred Berkowitz Gallery at The University of Michigan - Dearborn. It runs through September 30, 2013.

Michigan Colored Pencil Plus Exhibit

I won an award for this drawing "Marshall Point Lighthouse" at the Michigan Colored Pencil Plus Exhibit which runs through May 30, 2013 at the Birmingham Unitarian Church in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. The Colored Pencil Society of America -  Detroit District Chapter #104 put on this exhibit.
This was a very nice exhibit. It had a wide variety of very beautiful colored pencil drawings to see.

This is a colored pencil drawing that I have made of the Burnt Coat Harbor Light
on Swan's Island, Maine.The lighthouse was built in 1872 but has just gone 
through  major restoration. The Burnt Coat Harbor Light 
is an active aid to navigation today.
