Bass Harbor Lighthouse Drawing Accepted into CPSA International Exhibit

 

My colored pencil drawing of the Bass Harbor Lighthouse was accepted into The Colored Pencil Society of America's 2014 International Exhibit. The exhibit will be held from June 13, 2014 to August 25, 2014 at The Ormond Memorial Art Museum & Gardens in Ormond Beach Florida. Portland Head Lighthouse Drawing

This is my new colored pencil drawing that I have just finished recently of the Portland Head Lighthouse in Portland, Maine. I will soon be adding this drawing to my Maine box of Lighthouse Cards. It was a very nice experience photographing scenes in Maine. It is such a beautiful state and the coast line is spectacular! This is a colored pencil drawing that I have made of the Burnt Coat Harbor Light

on Swan's Island, Maine.The lighthouse was built in 1872 but has just gone 

through  major restoration. The Burnt Coat Harbor Light 

is an active aid to navigation today.
